[When Ed went outside, there was a postcard waiting for him on the doorstep. He stood in the doorway with a frown and stooped down to pick it up. Who would be sending him a postcard? He flipped it over and froze. His mouth went dry, his eyes widened, and his stomach started tying itself in knots.

What the hell was this?

Biting his lip he folded the postcard and shoved it in his pocket, heading down the street.

(He'll be walking around for most of the day, so you can run into him pretty much wherever you want. Just specify a location in your tag!)]



B. » Action「Park ★ Late Evening 」

[Walking along the path in one of the more secluded areas of the park, you'll be able to see a bright blue light a few yards away. Get closer and you'll be able to hear an electric crackle whenever the light shows up. Approach it and you'll find Ed in the middle of a transmutation. Guess who got his alchemy back?]

[The park was a nice place to walk, meaning Riza spent a lot of time walking through it. Hayate was with her, mesmerized by a butterfly--but she couldn't help but freeze at the flash of blue light she caught in the corner of her eye. Could it be? It was too early for new arrivals, but that didn't stop her from hoping that that familiar crackle of blue light was the Colonel.

She's not dumb enough to run into the middle of a transmutation, but Hayate borders on it. When he finishes his transmutation, he'll find Hayate sitting by his feet, tail wagging, and Riza standing just by the bushes. She is making every attempt to look both unperturbed and not disappointed.]

[The light fades and in front of him is one of the gaudiest Gothic statues in the history of ever. Ed has the best sense of style and this gargoyle? This gargoyle was BADASS.

and then suddenly Hayate. Which could only mean Riza was here, too. He turned around slowly.]

Hayate abandons Ed's shoes to sniff the gargoyle, wagging his tail slowly.]

Yeah. I got this weird postcard earlier today. Didn't want to try anything anywhere close to where Lust could see.

[Hayate yips, and then lifts his leg, peeing on the statue. Hawkeye's reaction just wasn't fast enough.]

[Don't get too excited about Hayate appreciating your gargoyle, Ed. Scolded, Hayate runs over to Riza and whines, making a pouting face. It was new territory, Mommy.]

As Lust approaches she'll find an assortment of statues, stone pillars and walls, and lances so ornate that they could be considered gaudy. He was making things because he could. Because it felt good to be able to do something useful again. Because this was science and science was awesome

At the sound of Lust's voice he freezes -- his shoulders stiffen as he inhales sharply, but he doesn't turn around.]

[just sitting here, watching what the human is doing. That is really weird, she's never seen something like that before.]

[Ed made another gargoyle! Screw what everyone else said, this was a work of art. A work of intricate, overly embellished art. A work of art that showed he had absolutely not taste, but whatever.

He grins and steps back, crossing his arms over his chest and he catches something out of the corner of his eye. His brows furrow as he turns his head to look and for once he is pleasantly surprised.]

Oh! Hey there! [he grins and plops down on the ground, extending his hand towards the puppy.] You're not lost, are you?

[She waddles over towards him and licks his hand, trying to convey that she is not lost at all and only observing the surroundings and trying to stay away form drones. And with what he was just doing, he definitely isn#t a drone.]

[A blue light? Well, that's new and interesting. He'll go ahead and approach quietly, stopping once he's close and in a spot where he can get a good view. This should be interesting - and hopefully in a good way]

Ed's actually in the middle of a transmutation that has has just started to take shape. See that, Yosuke? That would be a spear coming out of the ground.]

[That's not quite what's going through his head, but it might as well be. Yosuke's never seen anything remotely close to that kind of magic, and it's a sight to behold. He waits until it seems like Ed is finished before making his presence known, calling out from his vantage point]

[Ed spins the spear around, getting used to the weight and balance. he's made better. it's not as sturdy as he would like it to be. Startled, he looks up sharply at the sound of Yosuke's voice, but when he sees who it is he relaxes. Ed doesn't know him, but he's not Lust, Hawkeye, or General Armstrong so that's a plus. Hell, he'll even allow himself a bit of a smile.]
